"By Dolius!"
Is it going too far, is it possible to know, if Mark made use of Melanthius being the son of Dolius (Bk.17), a name meaning subtlety or trickery?

The priests in Mark were said to have sought to kill Jesus "by dolius", by trickery (Mk.14:1), and they proceeded to do that through Judas (14:10).

But this is purely my own fanciful thought -- spare Dennis MacDonald any brickbats if you think this one is pure coincidence.
